Experiment: Earn money through steps with WiseLife

Posted on 26. January 202526. September 2025 by admin

So… While browsing various apps, I came across a particular application called Wiselife, which would normally deter any sane person from installing it on their phone, let alone using it. But I ventured into the lion's den and started testing the app today. At least for the next three weeks.

WiseLife – Earn money through your steps

WiseLife

Today's self-experiment involves the app "“WiseLife“", which is currently only available in the App Store for Apple devices. The app promises to reward you with a corresponding amount of money for each step you take daily. On my first day using the app, I noticed that it doesn't offer direct cash, but rather coins. There's a fixed conversion rate: 5,000 steps are equivalent to 1,000 coins. I'll write about the value of these coins later. In my case, I had just under 4,900 steps by the evening – but I could see over 100,000 coins in my account. Why? It's all about videos! No kidding, every action within the app is preceded by an ad. Which isn't generally a bad thing, especially since you get around 4,500 coins for each video. And after redeeming your steps, you have the option to watch three videos that are rewarded almost ten times as much. That's why I had over 100,000 coins in my account." Account.

Is it really possible to earn a lot of money?

WiseLife

Well, within the app you can also select various slots or bonus games to further boost your coins. There's also a loyalty bonus for logging in daily. However, the main focus is on watching the 30-60 second promotional videos. After watching about 30 videos in the background over the course of an hour, I wanted to see how much I had earned that day. WiseLife It's quite simple in its design and displays the value of your points in a kind of wallet. According to the Chinese app operators, the current point exchange rate is as follows: 60,000 coins are worth 1.00 USD. A glance at my wallet shows me: Wow… I've actually earned a little over 2.50 USD in just one hour. Could that really be true?

The thing about gut feeling

Honestly, my gut feeling is telling me right now: "No, this is going to be some kind of scam." No PTV provider would pay you more than $2.50 for 30 ad videos. But: That's precisely where the appeal lies. I'm going to keep going until I reach the minimum payout threshold of $35.00 so I can have the money transferred to my PayPal account. (Reviews have...) WiseLife It's not yet available in the App Store. Therefore, I'll be testing whether it was truly "wise" to download the app to my phone. I'll definitely keep you updated.

If you see ads on your phone for games or programs promising to deposit a lot of money into your PayPal account in a very short time, steer clear. These apps, which usually reward you for stepping, sharing your Wi-Fi network, or simply playing very simple games, are typically financed by showing you countless ads. You won't see a single cent of your withdrawal request.
